September 17th is the 3rd Annual Zombie Walk here in Snohomish – come with food donation in hand for the Snohomish Food Bank  and join the other Zombies as they shamble and wander down 1st Street!

September 24th – my favorite! – 2nd Annual Snohomish Tweed Ride!
Dressed in old-timey clothing (no spandex and lycra, please!) and sitting upon your most vintage bicycle, strapping your lunch basket upon your “penny-farthing”and toodle along into the past down the Centennial Trail to the Machias  trailhead  where tea, and fun stuff will happen before you once more hop upon your velocipede and travel forward in time back to Historic Snohomish.  A wonderful way to spend the rest of your day would be wandering the shops and having dinner in one of great restaurants in our wonderful “blast from the past” town!

Departs from the Carnegie building on Cedar Ave at 11AM, tea and various “tea time” pursuits will be available from 11:30-1:30, like croquet and badminton!

Costume contest for best of dapper, dandy and dainty!
