Emma Kate Ramsey is an Everett-born, Snohomish-based artist. She has been working with watercolors and ink since childhood. A homeschooler most of her life, she was given tools, supplies, and classes to explore many mediums, though watercolor was her main medium. As a Running Start student, she entered college art classes early and gradually found her second love – Print.

Influenced by her lifelong love of Barbie and fashion dolls, Emma Kate specializes in fantasy and fashion illustration.  Her love of vintage dolls has led to illustrating a comic book for a client and supporting independent doll designers with illustrations for their proposed lines as well as contributing art to charity fanzines.

Emma Kate does custom character design and concept art and other work on commission and you can find her at Artisans Mercantile on Friday – Sunday most weekends!
