Keltic Kraze’s owner/maker Ruth Blair, is a mother of three grown children, grandmother of two, and a local of Marysville, Washington. She lives with her retired Navy husband and cares for her father while working on remodeling their home and running her business.

An art student in her youth, she was drawn to Pyrography (Drawing with Fire) after being given her first wood burning kit many years ago, but she turned her love and passion into a business in August of 2016 when she officially joined the family of artisans at AM!Many of Ruth’s items are one of a kind items, and frequently are reclaimed/refurbished. Some are sourced outside of the US, from Canada and China but all are painstakingly hand-decorated with wood-burned designs. An active member of the SCA, part of the Merchant Class, many of her items reflect her lifestyle lived at events, such as her popular bamboo flatware set and Hair Claws. As you can see in her catalog, she has a passion for Celtic Knotwork but is also inspired by a wide variety of cultural artwork, patterns and nature itself.Ruth loves creating individualized art for clients!
